About

Ed Shepard is the Manager of St. Louis Operations for Blackstone Environmental. He joined Blackstone in 2019 and currently oversees growth and development of Blackstone’s environmental footprint in the St. Louis metropolitan area. Ed has more than 30 years of experience in solid waste management facility permitting, design, operation and compliance monitoring; environmental compliance; RCRA facility investigation and closure; and underground storage tank closure and remediation.

His expertise expands the solid waste and environmental consulting services Blackstone can provide to our growing client base and is the catalyst for Blackstone’s expansion into the St. Louis metropolitan area.

Ed lives and works in the St. Louis area. He has been married to Heidi for 26 years, and they have two children, Jacob and Sarah. He enjoys spending time with his family and can be found in his workshop working on one of his numerous antique trucks, tractors or gas engines.
